Beer breaded shrimps

Beer breaded shrimp is one of the dishes served as an appetizer. It is nutritious, delicious, quick and very easy to prepare. When the shrimp are dipped in egg and beer and pepper is added, they become extra crispy once they are fried in vegetable oil.


  • 500 grams of shrimp
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 lemons
  • 1 egg
  • 1 glass of beer
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Wash, peel and devein the shrimp, rinse with water after removing the intestines, let dry in a saucepan with the help of a strainer. Then in a large bowl, whisk the flour, add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Beat the egg and beer until the dough is smooth and homogeneous. Then preheat the oil in a frying pan or deep fryer and once the oil is hot, coat the shrimp in the flour mixture.
  3. Fry the shrimp for 5 minutes in batches of 5, cook on both sides until the shrimp are completely golden brown.
  4. Once shrimp are done frying, remove and drain on a few paper towels. Season with a little Worcestershire sauce and mustard, serve the shrimp with beer adding a little lemon juice to taste.
