Garlic butter shrimp

Enjoy the delights of the sea in a different way by preparing this simple recipe to prepare garlic butter shrimp.
A very easy to make dish that you can enjoy with whatever you like, adding touches of chili and tequila if you like!


  • 1 kilogram of clean shrimp
  • 5 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chicken broth
  • 1 sprig of parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 chipotle chile, finely chopped (optional)
  • ¼ cup tequila (optional)


  1. In a medium bowl, mix the shrimp with all the ingredients except the butter and marinate for 25 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter along with the chipotle chili and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Once ready, place the shrimp in the pan, turn them occasionally so they cook evenly and remove once they turn pink.
  4. Place the shrimp in a covered container so that they retain the heat and the fusion with the ingredients is maximized.
  5. After 4 minutes your garlic butter shrimp are ready to serve. Enjoy this delicacy with a fresh avocado and tomato salad.


  • The shrimp should be cooked in 5 minutes maximum, do not let the cooking time pass because you will have shrimp with a semi-hard and rubbery texture.
