Sinaloa style shrimp salad

Today we bring you one of the easiest shrimp dishes to prepare, our Sinaloa style shrimp salad.

This Mexican dish contains a mix of ingredients, fresh, delicious, with a very smooth and creamy texture to the palate, seasoned with sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram of shrimp
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 cucumbers
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 avocado

Preparation

  1. Wash, peel and devein the shrimp with the help of a toothpick, rinse with cold water to remove the remaining intestines. Reserve in a bowl.
  2. Heat water in a pot with water and ¼ teaspoon of salt over medium heat, once the water boils, add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes or until they turn pink.
  3. Wash and peel the cucumbers, cut them into small cubes, then chop the onions and tomatoes and add everything in a medium bowl.
  4. Add the shrimp to the vegetables, then the sour cream and finally the mayonnaise. Stir well, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Finally, serve this dish with crackers, toast, chopped avocado, lime and enjoy this delicious Sinaloa style shrimp salad.

Tips

  • To prepare this delicious salad you can use any shrimp you want, although we recommend jumbo shrimp, fresh and not frozen.
  • Another option you have to give more flavor to this dish is to add lemon juice, do not deprive yourself to try new things when preparing your dishes, this recipe is the traditional Sinaloa recipe but you can change it a little.
