  1. Place the habaneros, mango, lime juice, garlic, ginger, garam masala and brown sugar in the pitcher of a blender. Cover and puree until smooth. Remove the filler cap and, with the motor running, drizzle in the oil. Season with salt to taste.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat add olive oil, once hot add shrimp and cook on each side for 1 minute or until pink.
  3. Remove shrimp from skillet and place in a bowl. Another cooking option is to flour the shrimp and fry them in a skillet with plenty of hot oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Serve your shrimp in mango habanero sauce with rice, beans or the salad of your choice. Enjoy!

  • You can prepare this dish by threading the shrimp onto skewers, pressing each shrimp together so they touch each other and cook better.
  • You can also put the shrimp in a large zip-top bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour. This way you can grill them.
  • To prepare this tasty dish we used medium sized shrimp, they were about 10cm long (peeled, but including the tail) and about 1cm thick.
