Shrimp sandwich

Today we will prepare a delicious shrimp sandwich in a very practical way so you don’t have to complicate things and have a delicious dinner.

The recipe includes a special sauce that we really like and we want to share with you, don’t miss this delicious preparation and let’s cook it now!


  • 250 grams cooked shrimp
  • 1 loaf of French bread, about 24 inches long and 2 ½ inches wide
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Special Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon or Creole mustard
  • ½ tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped white onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Creole seasoning

  1. Cut the French bread into four pieces, each about 6 inches long, and open each section.
  2. Prepare the special sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, egg, mustard, relish, onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and Creole seasoning in a small bowl.
  3. Let the sauce sit while you assemble the sandwich. Place sections of French bread on a baking sheet and toast in a 375°F (190 Celsius) oven for 5 minutes. Bread should be crisp, but not browned.
  4. Remove from oven and fill each sandwich with ½ cup shredded lettuce, the tomato slices, 1/3 cup shrimp and 3 tablespoons of our special sauce.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy this delicious homemade shrimp sandwich prepared the super easy way!


  • You can cook shrimp in different ways, one of our favorites is to grill them, but you can also prepare shrimp in butter.
